move on and start a new life

Life means movement and movement enriches our life.Ours is a family of four, me my younger brother, my mother who is a teacher and my father who was in the army. From the time I began school to the time I got to class V .I stayed with my grandparents. It is a place that is very dear to me and my best friend lives just two houses away from the house we used to stay in. Then my dad got a posting to a place where he could call his family and we could all stay together. However for me and my brother it meant a big change. This was a place where we were born. It felt as if we are now saplings that have emerged from the seeds sown in the ground and slowly the seed grew into a small plant slowly but firmly gripping the ground with its roots. I felt a connection with that place, our house, friends, neighborhood  and school. Everything was part of my identity and it game me a sense of belonging with the place. Going to another city was a very big decision for me. Not that I did not love my father or did not want to stay with him. Instead it was the fear of the unknown place combined with the pain of leaving a place that I had got used to and which seemed my perfect home. My heart was being pulled in two different directions. On one side was the choice of staying back with my grand parents and let my brother and mother go and stay with my father and on the other side was to accompany my mother and brother to go and stay with my father and this way we could be reunited and stay as one happy family. With a heavy heart I made the decision of moving to a new city and #StartANewLife. On moving to a new city I did not have much  difficulty in adjusting to the new surroundings. I soon made new friends and played all sorts of games with them. My school had a big skating rink and I was drawn to it instantly.  My father got posted to a new place after every few years and we moved with him. This way I got the opportunity of studying at a number of schools. Some had very good teachers while others offered excellent sports training. Over all I feel the option of relocation and moving to a new city was not a hindrance but a big opportunity that has helped me and my brother become better individuals . By the time I passed out of school I had seen a large part of the country and when the time came to choose a college I had no difficulty in relocating and moving to a new city for my college admission and to #StartANewLife and a new beginning for my career and future ahead
#StartANewLife
