Happy treat for my dil ki deal

I passed out from college and managed to be selected by a good MNC. The company had come to our college for selecting the lucky candidates. I was extremely lucky to be selected as the company was offering a very good pay package. Above all the job was in my city only. This made my parents very happy. All my friends had also been selected by some companies and they were also greatly excited at the prospect of doing their first job. They were also very happy that they would not have to go to another city or town for work. Their greatest happiness lay in the fact that all of us friends would not be separated from each other.
After joining my first job when I got my first salary I decided to splurge it on myself. I decided to go to the best and the most exclusive restaurant in town and buy myself a nice dinner .I had worked so hard for this job and finally that I had got it A celebration were due. So first I decided to get myself a dinner treat and then whatever money would be left would be spent of shopping. This was the plan that I had made and to execute it I went to a nice restaurant. The restaurant was a beach side one and had quite a great ambiance. People sitting there wore expensive clothes. They devoured dishes after dishes and gulped down their drink as if there was a celebration going on. Every one seemed happy and there were frequent sounds of laughter. Everything seemed so perfect here. I was going through the menu eagerly as I wanted to order some good food. Just then my eyes fells upon a group of urchins who were playing out side the premises of the hotel’s boundary wall. They too were laughing but their body language suggested that they were carefree. The expressions on their faces said that they had no worry in this world. Some of them were playing and others trying to sell their wares to the passers by. It was a great contrast. I felt that these were two very different worlds one was here in this expensive restaurant where everything had a price tag attached to it. You could buy it if you had the money. The world outside where these children were playing  had an air of care freeness .The smiles on their faces were priceless. The meal that I was going to order would cost enough money that could buy those children maybe a week’s food. This thought made me very uneasy. Suddenly I felt out of place in this exclusive restaurant. I felt that I had lost my appetite. I left the place without ordering or eating any food. I was drawn towards the children and soon found myself standing amongst them but my celebration was still due so I ordered food and ice cream for all of them from a vendor standing there. The children seemed very happy and then the party was on. They seemed so happy and thanked me. I too felt happy in their company. This was my dil ki deal to celebrate my first salary.
